In the past few years, the Valor Institute has orchestrated many local,regional as well as international conferences. The Valor Institute isproud to have participated in the planning and coordination of wellknown events, such as the fourth International conference on SocialRoles Valorization, held in Ottawa in May 2007. We also wish tohighlight the planning of the very first symposium on openness inadoption held in June 2008, which has attracted various clientsincluding foster parents, adults who were adopted as well as workersfrom the adoption sector.
